The Website MDJSM.co.uk and its contents are for information only. MDJ school of motoring does not guarantee it’s content for accuracy and will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising out of the use of this website.

Tuition fees need to be paid in advance if forward bookings are to be kept.   Payment can be by cash or cheque, with a guarantee card.   Cheques should be made payable to MDJSM' or 'M D Jarvis'.

At least 24 hours notice must be given by you or the instructor, if there is a need to cancel or re-arrange a lesson booking.   Failure to give this notice will result in a valid claim for compensation equivalent to the value of a current 1-hour lesson.   The school cannot be responsible for postponements of lessons due to illness or mechanical breakdown, nor for driving tests postponed by the DSA.

It is acknowledged and agreed by the pupil that the instructor may be late for reasons beyond their control.   The instructor will endeavour to contact the pupil if this is the case.

MJD School of mooring will carry motor insurance covering the pupil whilst driving the tuition vehicle when accompanied by an ADI instructor or a Driving Standards Agency Examiner.   The pupil acknowledges that MDJ School of motoring has no liability to the pupil in respect of any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of the tuition vehicle or from the acts or omissions of the instructor.

The pupil will be responsible for any tests fees that are payable to the DSA.

Your instructor has the right to change or cancel your test under certain circumstances, should he consider that your driving is not to test standard.

The school will not be liable for any failure of the vehicle’s lights during any test, since these will have been checked by the pupil and the instructor prior to the test.
